soquietly: Hulk (Marvel Adventures: Avengers) (but Hulk wanted couscous...)
See, you can play the games online! Which is amazing and eating my life.

BUT I cannot figure out how to get at the side menu in-game to use items and teach HM skills in Crystal version. Can anyone please please please help a girl out? I'm stuck 'til I can make this happen!

Meme time!

Ask me any question and I'll answer it– handwritten!

•I got new comics :D Winter Soldier: Winter Kills and my trade paperback of New X-Men: Childhood's End vol. 1 are now in my possession and I love them. Ugh I seriously want more of the Academy X/New X-Men arc, but all the other trades inexplicably cost a freaking fortune. Sadface. (Anyone know an inexpensive source?) Also I got the first two tpb of Ultimates out from the library and... uh. Don't think I'll be reading the rest, because they are grim and violent and everyone is a dick in that universe. Not a fan.

•US figure skating nationals were this weekend! SPOILER ALERT: Jeremy Abbott and Davis & White were awesome, and handed everyone their asses. Check out Abbott's free skate complete with flawless quad and his jazzy, sassy short program. I was also very pleased to see some of our ladies not suck! The current crop of US women has been really not up to par recently.

•I have been stalled on my writing lately. I suppose since most of my half-finished gdocs are currently self-indulgent futurefic in the Stark twins 'verse it doesn't really matter, but it's frustrating.

•Who else is watching White Collar? Was the last episode not a total case of White Collar meets Gossip Girl? I'm really not sure how I felt about that– though I know I felt good about Matt Bomer's glasses. Mrow.

•I started a tumblr for superheroes doing normal people stuff, called Superheroes Hanging Out. The Avengers play a lot of baseball, you guys. Anyway, if that's relevant to your interests you should check it out/follow/submit things.

•I know I'm late, but I finally got around to watching X-Men: First Class over the weekend. Wow. So heterosexual. It was good, though immediately after I felt compelled to rewatch X2 for real Magneto. Sorry Fassy, but you just aren't Sir Ian. It's nothing to be ashamed of. (I also want to rewatch X3 now, which is a bit more shameful but dammit I love Beast in that one). Was not impressed with the casting on Emma Frost, who should be much more awesome and witty. Did deeply enjoy the training montage because I'm a sucker for that shit.
soquietly: Neal Caffrey (White Collar) (don't let your enemies become friends.)
This post is an important informational bulletin for those who love White Collar, those who are thinking of getting into White Collar, or those who just want to stare at Matt Bomer. (I think pretty much everyone I know probably falls into at least one of these categories).

iTunes currently has the midseason premiere, "Checkmate," available for free download. FUCK YES.

soquietly: Bucky Barnes (Captain America) (bang bang straight through my heart.)
Title: Pull me down sweet and low
Rating: NC-17
Fandom: Captain America
Pair: Steve Rogers/Bucky Barnes
Warnings: D/s, gunplay
Summary: Steve looks after everyone, but no one looks after Steve. No one except Bucky.
A/N: It's [personal profile] soldierly's fault that I wrote this instead of any of the stuff I actually meant to be writing.

soquietly: Sherlock Holmes (BBC Sherlock) (forget everything you're taught.)
I have thoughts about A Scandal in Belgravia, and they have nothing to do with the is it or isn't it sexist argument that everyone is having. I'll leave that to everyone else; I have thoughts about Mycroft to discuss.

Needless to say, spoilers for A Scandal in Belgravia below. )
